*Graduation Ceremony* of kindergarten wing was held in school auditorium. Young DAVians were crowned by Hon’ble Director Ms.Shivani Sareen and the principal Dr Seema Dutt. Mr.Rahul Jain Alumni of dav and Mr.Gaurav Khanna, Director Elnino Preschool were the special guests who witnessed the ceremony along with parents.

D.A.V. Public School, Riverside organised a farewell party- *Valediction* on 11 February. The program began with the lighting of lamp by our reverend Director ma’am Mrs. Shivani Sareen, Principal, Dr Seema Dutt and Vice Principal Sir, Mr. Jitender Arora. Class 11 presented mesmerizing performance and the confident ramp walk done by class 12 students filled the atmosphere with loud cheers. Students of Riverside DAV Public school brought laurels in the series of competition conducted by Municipal council Ambala Sadar. Shivang clinched first position, Priyanshu stood second and Jasmine and Sabirah bagged third prize in Essay writing competition. Dr Seema Dutt applauded the budding scholars and wished them good luck in their future endeavours.

U-16 Archery championship

Ashmit of Riverside DAV Public School, Ambala Cantt has made the school proud by winning gold medal in U-16 Archery championship conducted by Youth India’s Sports Council at Mother Khazani Convent School, Mangeshwar,Delhi.

The Principal,Dr Seema Dutt appluded the hard work and dedication of Ashmit and further remarked that these kind of events are significant to instill confidence and social skills among students.

INTACH Filmit Awards

The budding artists of Riverside DAV Public School, Ambala Cantt made their mark in Filmit Awards conducted by INTACH at St. Kabir School, Chandigarh under the able guidance of Ms. Madhu Singh and Monika Bhola. Saubhagya of class Vlll made the school proud by winning award for best feature film and Meenal Jain of class X by winning the best documentary award. These students will be competing in Nationals

Kindergarten Sports Week

Sports week was organized for the young DAVains of Kindergarten wing, from 23rd to 28th January’ 2023. Students participated in various fun races and skating activities with great enthusiasm, fervent and excitement, amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The Principal Dr Seema Dutt awarded the champions with medals and motivated them to be physically fit.

Celebrating the 74th Republic Day and Basant Panchami

DAV Public School celebrated the 74th Republic Day and Basant Panchami with overwhelming patriotic fervour and reverence. The programme commenced with unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, Dr Seema Dutt followed by a vibrant show put up by the enthusiastic students of lndra House. The talk, song and dances not only put forth the importance of Basant Panchmi but also ignited the patriotic feelings of the students and teachers alike. The diligence and perseverance of the winners of Olympiad were also acknowledged.

The Principal in her address congratulated the gathering and inspired them to uphold the constitution and live by the values put forward by the great leaders.

National Karate Championship

The budding athletes of DAV Riverside Public School brought glory by winning three gold, two silver and three bronze medals in National Karate Championship held at Chandigarh University from 28th December to 30th December 2022. Gold medal was clinched by Sparsh, Priyanshu and Vardaan whereas Kinjal and Devanshi bagged silver medal and bronze medal was won by Gunjan ,Vedanti and Shikha under the able mentorship of Mr Amit Kumar the Physical Instructor of the school.

The Principal Dr Seema Dutt felt exceedingly proud at the achievement of the students and wished them good luck for their future endeavours .

Nationals Boxing Championship

A moment of elation, pride and exhilaration for DAV Public School, Riverside. Abdul Qadir won gold medal in boxing at Nationals defeating three times International winner. The Principal Dr. Seema Dutt and the management congratulated Abdul Quadir for his resounding victory and conveyed their wishes for his laudable journey as a boxer.

Celebrating this bonhomie,the children visited the ATL Lab, briefed on various Sports nurseries and were taken around the school. Principal,Dr Seema Dutt interacted with the children and motivated them to excel in life.
